Special Mysticatz Bulletin!
We will be making some changes in the coming weeks to our name, logo, and look! So please excuse the mess and confusion until this process is complete. You're Mysticatz will also be taking on Mystimutz! We have expanded to have more and more dogs in need of help in our area, that we have made it official.
You'll begin to see a new logo for us, as well as our name changing to:

We hope this will give our homeless felines a faithful partner in the canines that are also in need of help. So hang in there, we'll be finished updating as soon as we can be. If you have any questions or suggestions, please drop us a line. We'd love to hear from you!

~ Who Are We ~
What do we do, & why do we do it?
A small group of friends and animal lovers started this Non-Profit Adoption Organization to help those unwanted cats and dogs that are in need of unique assistance. Specifically... to adopt their new owners!
Due to the tremendous need in our community we primarily assist felines in their quest for new families; however, we have helped a number of dogs along the way as well. We specialize in the "adoption" end of rescue, making sure the animals are completely ready for their new homes before they are ever made available to the public.
Maybe that means they've been sick and are now better, maybe they were abandoned kittens/puppies and needed nurturing, or maybe they were set to be euthanized and had no more chances at life. They are all completely socialized with other animals and people so we know if they will be a good "fit" to a potential new home.
Our animals are everything to us and we make sure they have all of the necessities of life, the highest priority of that being our love and affection. All animals are given vaccinations, spayed or neutered, tested for FIV/FeLV if feline, and have urine and blood tests if we feel this is necessary to determine their overall health; all before they are put up for adoption to the public.
We feel each animal has their own soul-mate, or furrever home, out there somewhere. We are just there to provide them the resources to connect with that purrfect family!

| Aurora is the Roman name for the Goddess of the Dawn. Her name simply means "the dawn, daybreak, or sunrise." She is described as being ever-young, and the first to awake, so that She may bring the light of day in Her chariot which She rides into the sky ahead of the Sun.
An aurora is also the name for the phenomenon of the northern (or southern) lights, great displays of shifting colors in the skies of the far north and south. Aurora borealis is said to mean "red dawn of the north." They are generally said to look like shifting curtains or veils of light, evoking Aurora's purple cloak blowing behind Her as She rides across the sky.

| We feel Aurora casts her light on our rescued feline friends, like the new dawn. So many of them have had a dark past we may never know about, but once they are with us, they have a renewed future that will be forever bright.
Please help us help them by giving one of these amazing felines a home to call their own. They all deserve the love and care of someone special, someone just like you!

| We choose the Triquetra on our logo cat's collar as it is a symbol of unity and strength, which are qualities needed to do the kind of work we do with animals.
"Unity" is important as we all need to stick together in the fight to save our homeless friends.
"Strength" is needed to get through the hard times that everyone in rescue has to go through at
one point or another.
The triquetra has a deep meening of harmony; and it brings together those who are around us, as we appreciate the individual wisdom we ALL bring to our organization by our varied ages and outlooks on life.
This symbol has also been know as the Past, Present, and Future which all of our homeless friends are going through.
- The "Past" was, for some, dark and dreary;
- The "Present" is a time of waiting for most of them, and getting well;
- And the "Future" we hope for them to be bright and full of love.
The Triquetra symbol, with its never-ending design, is true a representation of
everyone working together as "one", for the greater good of our homeless animals.
